First let me say that I grew up on this course in the 60s. It is not in great shape. It is cheap to play and also fun. My biggest beef is that it just appears to be so poorly managed. We played today in 85 degree heat. There was no ice or water except for on one hole out of 18. It was warm tap water in igloo jug. How hard or expensive would it be to put out ice water in a few key locations on the course and in the club house. The snack bar was closed not sure if it's been open at all for a while. All that said it was a fun round just go prepared for very poor services when playing.

Terrible condition. Waste of time and very slow. This course is a super layout but is not at maintained. The green fees are way to low, the carts are worn out (brakes on mine failed), no pro shop, starters are good however. For the life of me, I have no idea why the city of Atlanta does not double or triple the green fees and get the capital needed to make this layout decent. Greens are a disaster, fairways are average, the overall condition is worn out and tired. Do not waste your money on this dog track.

Before we came we read the reviews. Some don’t sound amazing and sadly it’s not the truth. We are beginners, and what we wanted was a course where we could take our time, play alone and enjoy our Sunday and enjoy trying to get better. This was EXACTLY what we got. We had a 1:30pm tee time which could be pretty busy for a Sunday. The man who was controlling the tee offs was amazing. We told him we were beginners and wanted to be alone and he truly listened to us and allowed us to be alone. We played a full 18 hole course without being held up or holding up anyone. He explained to us how the course is under construction which you may read in a different review. Some greens were being resurfaced so some greens and holes were temporary, but this was not an issue at all. The price is AMAZING. Good look finding another course in Atlanta that costs $85 for 2 people, on a Sunday, with a cart! If you are looking for top of the range golf course then this will be the place in a year or so. But right now if you are a beginner, or nervous about being with others, this place is the place for you. They are so supportive of your needs and this made the experience so much better for us! It’s such a shame the way this course has progressed over time. It’s in such bad shape. The course is hard as a rock, and the greens are in disarray. I don’t think the recent reviews are real. All 18 greens are like the few example photos I’ve attached. I’ve played the course every once in a while, but yesterday will be my last time. The only good note: Surprisingly, the pace was decent. We finished in 4 hours. That said, the place is usually slow. I’ve played 6-hour rounds and have even left at 9 holes due to the pace of play. In any case, save your money and take it somewhere else. The city needs a wake-up call to put some money into the most trafficked course in the city. It could be such a good track if they actually put some money in.

A fun course with thick grass offering a good hitting surface. A great place to work on the game for reasonable price. This course is in Atlanta staple has been around for decades. I’m pretty confident that it is owned by the city of Atlanta. The greens are thick and slow but offer a good experience. I highly recommend checking this out. After 5pm the cost is $20-30 to walk 18. ⭐️⭐️⭐️🇺🇸🐺
